Bio

2014-04-26 20.32.33My first CD, Riverbed, came out April 2014, featuring art by Elan Simon Parsons and music by Jon Ely.

I like to create: jack of all arts. Poetry deserves a place in our society, and I’m trying to reimagine that place, so
I make videopoems, dance to poetry, and participate in others’ art projects.
I studied creative writing at Interlochen Arts Academy and Knox College, and owe a lot to the poets of Gainesville. Currently I co-host the CMC Poetry Jam and the Wild Iris Feminist Open Mic.

I appreciate criticism of the constructive kind and being called out when I’m problematic.

If you want to book me for a show or conspire to make art, just ask!
